Just yesterday, a new software build emerged, reportedly intended for the highly speculated Galaxy Z Flip FE, expected to debut later this year alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7. Today, attention has also turned to this innovative foldable device.
According to a leak from an insider on X, the first test software build for the Galaxy Z Fold7 has shown up on Samsung’s servers. This build is identified as F966USQU0AYB3 / F966UOYN0AYB3 / F966USQU0AYB3 and is reportedly designated for the AT&T variant of the forthcoming foldable smartphone.

The source suggests that this build could be One UI 7.0.1, as Samsung is rumored to have abandoned plans for the One UI 7.1 update following the announcement that Android 16 is set to launch early this year. In fact, it is likely that Google will reveal Android 16 before Samsung introduces its new foldables. This raises an important question: Will Samsung opt to launch the Galaxy Z Fold7, Flip7, and Flip FE with Android 15, despite them potentially releasing a month or two after the introduction of Android 16?
This scenario might not cast a favorable light on the South Korean manufacturer. However, it seems that the company has recently shown a relaxed attitude toward timely software updates, leaving many to wonder what their strategy will ultimately be.
