Pope Francis is scheduled to enter Gemelli Hospital in Rome for medical care related to his ongoing bronchitis and will undergo further diagnostic evaluations.

On Friday, the Holy See Press Office announced that after his morning engagements, Pope Francis will be admitted to the Agostino Gemelli Polyclinic. During this hospital visit, he will participate in a series of diagnostic tests and continue the treatment for his lingering bronchitis.
The official statement highlighted, "Following his audiences this morning, Pope Francis will be admitted to the Agostino Gemelli Polyclinic for essential diagnostic assessments and to receive continued treatment for his bronchitis."
Pope Francis has experienced bronchitis symptoms for several days, which he mentioned during various public appearances. To manage his condition, he has requested that his colleagues deliver his prepared speeches at the last two General Audiences on Wednesdays, among other events.
Earlier on February 6, the Holy See Press Office had already disclosed information regarding the Pope’s bronchitis and indicated that he would be holding his audiences from his residence at Casa Santa Marta.
