A remarkable glitch in Halo Combat Evolved has surfaced after 24 years, enabling players to transform into the legendary Halo Ring. Following players successfully assuming the roles of Covenant foes without modifications, inventive gamers have found a method to commandeer the game’s iconic ringworld.

Highlighted on YouTube, this newly uncovered glitch is operational on both the original Xbox edition and the Master Chief Collection on PC and modern Xbox consoles.
Uncovered by Halo content creator Porle 117, this glitch requires two players to expertly manage loading zones and then unleash a staggering 32,640 bullets, equivalent to an astonishing 272 full Assault Rifle ammunition clips each.

Next, players need to take seven additional shots, activate a cutscene, and watch it through to completion. After this process, player one will find themselves floating in the vastness of space, now controlling the Halo Ring.

In total, executing this glitch to embody the Halo Ring takes around thirty minutes, although there isn’t much to engage in once you succeed. It remains uncertain whether this glitch can be replicated in other scenarios within the game, such as during the concluding cutscene featuring Master Chief and Cortana’s escape in the Broadsword.
