Elon Musk has finally addressed the claims made by conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, who recently announced that she gave birth to his child five months ago. Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) to respond to a post that alleged St. Clair had been scheming for years to have his child, adding another layer to this developing story.

Musk reacts to St. Clair’s child revelation

On Friday, 26-year-old Ashley St. Clair shocked many by claiming that she shares a five-month-old baby with Elon Musk. Her spokesperson, Brian Glicklich, confirmed this assertion on X, indicating that both parties had been negotiating a co-parenting arrangement in private.

“It is unfortunate that a tabloid journalist, who has repeatedly harassed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to keep that process confidential,” Glicklich expressed. He also mentioned that St. Clair is looking for Musk to publicly recognize his role as the child’s father and finalize their agreement to prioritize the child’s safety and well-being.

Musk’s brief reply and St. Clair’s comeback

Musk responded to the swirling controversy with a succinct “Whoa” on X, addressing a post that accused St. Clair of orchestrating a long-term plan to ensnare him. St. Clair promptly retaliated, criticizing Musk for engaging with rumors instead of addressing the matter directly.

“Elon, we’ve been trying to reach you for several days, yet you’ve chosen to respond publicly to baseless accusations from someone who just shared photos of me at 15,” she remarked.

St. Clair mentioned that she felt compelled to share her news due to mounting media pressure.

“I’ve kept this a secret to safeguard our child’s privacy, but it’s become evident that tabloids will go to any lengths to exploit this story, regardless of the harm it brings,” she stated, urging the media to respect her child’s privacy and refrain from intrusive coverage.

Three hours after her initial response, she expressed gratitude to her supporters and revealed she would be stepping away from X.

Musk’s growing family

If St. Clair’s claims hold true, this baby would mark Elon Musk’s 13th child. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX is already a father to multiple children with three different partners:

Justine Wilson (First Wife): Five children—twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian.

Grimes (Musician & Ex-Partner): Three children—X Æ A-12 (“X”), Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus.

Shivon Zilis (Neuralink Executive): Twins—Strider and Azure.

Musk and his children were recently photographed together during a meeting with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
