New Miami Local School District Closes Due to Illness
BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – In response to a significant number of illnesses among students and staff, the New Miami Local School District has decided to cancel classes for the remainder of the week.
On Wednesday, district officials shared a notice with the community indicating that there would be no school on Thursday, February 13, 2025, and Friday, February 14, 2025.
"We have decided to close New Miami Local Schools for the days mentioned above due to the high rate of illness affecting our students and staff," the announcement stated.
Furthermore, there will be no transportation services available for Butler Tech, parochial schools, or any alternative education programs during this period, as confirmed in the statement.
"We appreciate your understanding as we focus on ensuring the health and safety of everyone in our school community," district officials concluded.
