We’ve seen leaks of Pixel devices in rideshare cars and different modes of public transportation, but the latest glimpse of the Pixel 9a comes from an unexpected source: a recent leak concerning the Galaxy S25 Edge.
A YouTube user recently shared a Short titled “Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Camera Samples.” While the video has since been taken down, it briefly showcased a black Pixel 9a, likely referred to as “Obsidian.”
This latest look featured the backside of the anticipated 2025 smartphone, revealing the “G” logo which indicates that this is a final version of the device rather than an early prototype, as seen in a previous leak from September.
Although it could be the zoom level or the subpar lighting during the capture, the rounded edge between the device’s side rail and back cover appears to be more prominent — potentially flatter and wider — compared to earlier retail renderings.

This brief clip captures a close-up of the pill-shaped camera and its subtle protrusion, with the flash hole appearing notably larger in comparison.
This unexpected leak comes as anticipation for the rumored release of the Pixel 9a builds.
