If you followed CES this year, you might have noticed an intriguing feature of the Asus Adol 14 Air Fragrance Edition: a magnetically-attached oil diffuser embedded in the lid that releases the scent of essential oils when the laptop warms up. Recently, Asus unveiled plans for a complementing product called the “Fragrance Mouse.” This mouse was highlighted alongside the company’s Copilot Plus PCs at CES 2025, and according to company representative Anthony Spence, it is set to launch in the United States around late April to early May, as reported by The Verge.

The Fragrance Mouse is designed with a simple setup that includes two buttons and a scroll wheel. Its unique quality lies beneath the surface—a small compartment that contains a refillable vial for your preferred essential oils. Aside from this distinctive feature, the mouse functions as a standard wireless device, connecting via Bluetooth or a 2.4GHz USB dongle. It offers adjustable DPI settings (1200dpi, 1600dpi, and 2400dpi) and is powered by a single AA battery. Asus claims it comes in eye-catching finishes of Iridescent White and Rose Clay.

While it may not be possible to acquire both the scented laptop and mouse together, as the Adol 14 Air Fragrance Edition has only been launched in China since it debuted in July 2024, noted by as highlighted by Ars Technica. Spence did not provide specific pricing information for the Fragrance Mouse in his correspondence with The Verge.
