Matthew Stafford isn’t the only player on the Rams roster benefiting from a new contract.
Recent reports indicate that left tackle Alaric Jackson has secured an extension with the team. His new contract spans three years and is valued at $57 million, with $35 million guaranteed.
This development follows closely on the heels of Stafford’s revised agreement with the Rams, which has effectively put an end to trade speculations surrounding the quarterback since the conclusion of the previous season.
Jackson joined the Rams as an undrafted free agent from Iowa in 2021. Since then, he has made appearances in four regular-season games and two playoff games as a reserve player. He became a full-time starter in six games last year and has consistently held down a starting position on the offensive line for Los Angeles when at full strength over the past two seasons.
