Two women were shot during the Eagles’ Super Bowl festivities in Philadelphia on Friday, according to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore stated that a man dressed in an Eagles jersey opened fire on the women along Ben Franklin Parkway.

Fortunately, the victims are currently reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities are investigating whether the shooter had any prior acquaintance with the victims and are looking into the motivations behind the incident.
