PHOENIX (AZFamily) — On Monday night, many residents across Arizona expressed concern about an unusual sight in the night sky, only to realize it was a familiar occurrence.
It wasn’t an unidentified flying object (UFO); rather, it was a satellite launched by SpaceX.
The Falcon 9 rocket successfully lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California shortly after 6 p.m., carrying a payload of 23 Starlink satellites.
Observers in Arizona witnessed the satellite’s path across the sky and eagerly shared their photos and videos with Arizona’s Family.
According to SpaceX, this marks the 23rd flight for the first stage booster involved in this mission.
