The Galaxy F06 5G is now available in India, marking Samsung’s most affordable smartphone equipped with One UI 7 and Android 15. You can purchase it via Flipkart, Samsung’s official website, and select physical stores.

The entry-level model, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, is priced at INR 9,999 (approximately $115). A higher model with 6GB of RAM and the same storage option is available for INR 11,499 (around $133). Additionally, Samsung is offering a cashback incentive of INR 500 for customers using Axis and ICICI Bank debit and credit cards.

Besides the intuitive One UI 7 interface, the Galaxy F06 boasts impressive 5G capabilities. It is the first model in the Galaxy F0x series to offer 5G connectivity, compatible with 12 different bands used by telecom operators across India.

What sets the Galaxy F06 apart is its eligibility for four major Android OS upgrades and security patches over four years—an impressive commitment at its price point. While it may not include the advanced AI features found in Samsung’s flagship models, the value it offers is substantial for budget-conscious consumers.

The smartphone also showcases a unique design with a rear panel featuring what Samsung describes as a ‘Ripple Glow’ finish, distinct from any other device in the Galaxy lineup. It is available in two attractive colors: Bahama Blue and Lit Violet.

The Galaxy F06 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process. This processor features two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores operating at 2GHz, complemented by a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

The device flaunts a 6.7-inch LCD display, capable of reaching 800 nits of brightness, with a refresh rate of 60Hz. For photography enthusiasts, it comes equipped with a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging through a compatible charger.

Positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Galaxy A06 5G, which offers a 90Hz display and IP54 water and dust resistance certification, the A06 starts at INR 10,499 ($120), thus making the F06 an appealing choice for budget shoppers.
