Bank of America: DeepSeek Will Not Impact Nvidia Sales
Analysts from Bank of America predict that Nvidia will exceed earnings forecasts, projecting a remarkable 60% year-over-year growth in data center revenue for the calendar year 2025.
Vivek Arya, a Bank of America analyst, noted in a recent report that despite the so-called “revolutionary” optimizations brought by DeepSeek, there have been no noticeable changes in the spending intentions of Nvidia’s major clients, including industry giants like Microsoft and Meta.
Arya emphasized that advancements in both hardware and software remain crucial components of computing, which leads him to believe that improvements from DeepSeek are unlikely to negatively affect Nvidia’s sales.
Looking ahead, Arya highlighted Nvidia’s GTC conference scheduled for March as a significant upcoming event. This conference could shift investor attention away from current offerings such as Blackwell, focusing instead on next-generation innovations like the Rubin GPU and advancements in autonomous robotics.
Bank of America has assigned Nvidia a “Buy” rating, with a target price of $190.
