Anthony Edwards has done it once again.
During the first quarter of the Minnesota Timberwolves’ game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday evening at Target Center, Edwards received the ball on the left wing, made a powerful drive toward the basket, and leaped just inside the paint to deliver an awe-inspiring dunk over Thunder center Chet Holmgren.

Following the impressive dunk, Edwards stood over Holmgren, drawing attention. As reported by Star Tribune’s Chris Hine, the Thunder’s bench expressed their frustration at the lack of a technical foul for the apparent taunt.
Holmgren, who hails from Minnesota and played high school basketball just a few miles away from Target Center at Minnehaha Academy, made his return to the game last Friday after sidelined for 39 games due to a hip injury.
Since returning, Holmgren has had a slow start, amassing only 16 points in his initial two games. On Thursday night, he found himself on the receiving end of yet another signature dunk by Edwards, a moment familiar to many NBA players.
NBA enthusiasts were thrilled with Edwards’s spectacular slam:
