Elon Musk has announced his intention to step back from social media following claims from a MAGA influencer who alleged she gave birth to his 13th child.
Ashley St. Clair, a 26-year-old right-leaning journalist, posted on X that she and Musk are parents to a five-month-old child, and criticized the world’s wealthiest individual for not replying to her.
“I welcomed a new baby into our lives five months ago. Elon Musk is the father,” she stated. “I kept this private to safeguard our child’s well-being, but it’s clear the tabloids intend to disclose our situation, regardless of the risks involved.”
St. Clair later commented: “Elon, we’ve been attempting to reach you for several days without a response.”
Mr. Musk, who has fathered 12 children from three different relationships, did not specifically confirm or deny St. Clair’s remarks but did respond to another person’s insinuation that her pregnancy was planned.
“Ashley St. Clair has schemed for five years to trap Elon Musk,” wrote Milo Yiannopoulos, a British provocateur, on X.
This comment was supported by a screenshot showing Ms. St. Clair stating to Greg Price, another media figure, on X that she wanted to catch Mr. Musk’s interest for a potential marriage proposal years before they eventually met.
“Whoa,” Musk replied, adding that he would be unusually “offline” over the weekend to focus on his AI project, Grok 3.

St. Clair, previously a contributor to The Babylon Bee, known for its satirical content, and the author of an anti-woke children’s book on gender identity, responded: “When will you respond to me instead of addressing smears from individuals who just posted underwear photos of me from when I was 15?”
The MAGAB influencer asserted that Musk’s team had already been informed about the social media posts which were “clearly in jest.”
In a recent interview with The New York Post, St. Clair claimed that the Tesla and SpaceX leader had “slid into her DMs” back in May 2023.
She alleged Musk messaged her: “Are you ever in San Francisco or Austin?” to which she responded, “I am in Austin frequently for work.”
This exchange reportedly led to an arrangement for her to interview Musk at Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters, orchestrated by her company within a couple of days.
Not long after the interview, St. Clair recounted receiving another message from Musk asking: “How about a trip to Providence tonight?”
“I was told to keep it a secret. I was expected to maintain this confidentiality indefinitely,” she mentioned regarding her pregnancy, claiming that she consented to leave Musk’s name off the birth certificate to protect his privacy.
Originally from Florida, St. Clair asserted that she was accommodated in a luxury apartment in New York’s financial district, while her associates were reportedly required to sign non-disclosure agreements.
“I felt utterly isolated throughout my pregnancy. Every aspect of my career was stripped away from me, and I was instructed not to disclose anything,” she explained.
Brian Glicklich, her representative, mentioned that the two have been negotiating privately on an arrangement for their child’s upbringing.
“We are awaiting an official acknowledgment from Elon regarding his role as a parent to Ashley’s child to halt unnecessary speculation. Ashley believes Elon will act quickly to finalize their agreement, prioritizing their child’s well-being and safety,” he wrote on X.

Although Mr. Musk has not directly addressed the allegations, he did reply to a fan who asked if making another child was among his “side quests,” posting a crying-laughing emoji in response.
The South African billionaire, who has expressed concern over declining birth rates, already has 12 other children with three different partners.
He shares five children with his first wife, Justine Wilson, including twins Vivian and Griffin, as well as triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Tragically, the couple lost their first child to sudden infant death syndrome shortly after birth.
In 2022, Vivian, now 18, changed her name from Xavier to Vivian, omitted her father’s surname, and began her gender transition.

In a 2024 interview with Jordan Peterson, the Canadian psychologist and anti-woke figure, Musk stated that his trans daughter was dead to him and that he felt “tricked” into allowing his child to use puberty blockers.
“I essentially lost my son. They term it deadnaming for a reason,” he expressed, adding, “My son Xavier is gone, taken by the woke ideology.”
His marriage to Wilson, a Canadian author, lasted from 2000 until 2008, after which Musk claimed he provides $20,000 per month in child support.
Musk’s well-known relationship with musician Grimes resulted in the birth of X Æ A-Xii, known as X, who has frequently been seen with his father in various public settings, as well as his daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl, and son, Techno Mechanicus.

Grimes, who has previously emphasized the importance of privacy for their child, expressed concern when Mr. Musk showcased their toddler at a public event in the Oval Office.
“He shouldn’t be out in public like this,” Grimes commented on X in reply to a user praising her for raising a “very polite” child.
“I was unaware of this, thank you for letting me know. But it’s good to hear he was polite. Sigh,” she added.
Additionally, Mr. Musk has twins, Strider and Azure, with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink. The duo welcomed a third child together in early 2024.
