Manchester City welcomed their new player, Omar Marmoush, who made a significant impact by scoring a hat trick within just 13 minutes of the first half during a dominant 4-0 victory against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.

In addition to Marmoush’s stellar performance, James McAtee secured a late goal for Pep Guardiola’s team, lifting them to fourth place in the league standings with a total of 44 points, while Newcastle fell to seventh with 41 points.

Marmoush opened the scoring in the 19th minute, capitalizing on a long pass from City’s goalkeeper Ederson. The ball was misjudged by defender Kieran Trippier, allowing the Egyptian international to chip the ball over the advancing Martin Dubravka.

Just five minutes later, Marmoush struck again by receiving a pass from Ilkay Gundogan and firing a low shot that took a slight deflection off Trippier.

He completed his hat trick in the 33rd minute when Savinho set him up, and Marmoush unleashed a powerful shot from 12 yards out.

After the match, Marmoush expressed his joy over contributing to the team’s crucial win. “It was an incredible day; the feeling is surreal. We came out strong from the first minute and accomplished our goal,” he shared with BBC Sport.

“The pace of the game was intense, and I’m really pleased to support the team. I also want to acknowledge my teammates, the coach, and all the staff for welcoming me from day one and making me feel like part of this family.”

He added, “The atmosphere was fantastic; I want to thank the fans for their warm applause.”
