Team Asobi has unveiled an exciting new set of levels for its PS5 platforming game, Astro Bot. This update, which is entirely free, will introduce five new levels over the next few weeks, with the initial level becoming available today. Additionally, players who own a PS5 Pro can expect a patch designed to optimize the game for Sony’s enhanced hardware, ensuring Astro Bot runs at a consistently high resolution while maintaining 60 frames per second.

The first new level is named Tick-Tock Shock, and you can see it in action in the video above. Below is the complete schedule for upcoming releases:

• February 13 — Tick-Tock Shock
• February 20 — Thrust or Bust
• February 27 — Cock-A-Doodle-Doom
• March 6 — Hard to Bear
• March 13 — Armored Hardcore

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, studio director Nicolas Doucet shared that these new levels are intentionally designed to be more challenging than previous ones, testing your jumping abilities. “Each level features a unique Special Bot to rescue, and after completing them, you can replay in Time Attack mode with online leaderboards. To access this content, you must have completed the main game. So prepare to hone your skills and get ready to rescue those bots,” he stated.
