Exciting new information about the upcoming Lego Game Boy set has surfaced online, including its pricing details.

This revelation comes from FalconBrick Studios, an Instagram account renowned for sharing early insights about Lego products prior to their official announcements.

The account reports that the set is set to launch on October 1, priced at $59.99, and will feature 421 pieces. This pricing is relatively higher compared to other Lego themed sets.

For instance, the Lego Harry Potter Knightbus Adventure set, which includes 499 pieces, is priced at $49.99.

Typically, such information circulates shortly before Lego officially reveals the product and begins accepting pre-orders, suggesting that the first official images of the set will be available online very soon.

This Game Boy is the second Lego set inspired by a Nintendo gaming console, marking the first time a handheld device is featured.

The previous set based on a Nintendo console, the Lego NES, was launched in August 2020, retailing for $229.99 / £209.99. This set included a brick-crafted NES model along with a vintage-style television display showcasing a scrolling Super Mario Bros scene.

Additionally, Nintendo has collaborated with Lego to produce sets from several of its popular game franchises, including Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, and Mario Kart.

Last year, they introduced a Lego set themed around the Super Nintendo game Super Mario World, followed by the release of Lego The Legend of Zelda: Great Deku Tree set.
