Passengers were swiftly evacuated using emergency slides in a recent incident. According to Delta Airlines, two individuals received medical attention from emergency technicians following the event, which involved a total of 94 passengers, along with two pilots and three flight attendants.

Delta has announced that it is currently investigating the source of the haze that prompted the evacuation. After being transported to the terminal, affected passengers will be rebooked on alternative flights, as per the airline’s protocols.

This incident follows a previous event a week ago, where a Delta aircraft crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport, resulting in injuries to 21 passengers but thankfully no fatalities.

In a separate incident earlier in January, an American Airlines jet, carrying 60 passengers and four crew members, tragically collided with an Army helicopter during its approach to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, resulting in the loss of all lives on board both aircraft.

Additionally, just a few weeks prior, a Delta jet was evacuated on a snowy runway at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport due to an engine malfunction, leading to four passengers reporting minor injuries.

The chaotic events triggered by this evacuation coincided with a storm that caused numerous flight cancellations at the Atlanta airport, ultimately leading to the temporary closure of runways throughout the morning.
