Treyarch and Raven Software have taken community feedback into account, leading to the restriction of new items within Black Ops 6 and Warzone Ranked Play.
With the launch of Season 2, both BO6 and Warzone Ranked Play now offer console players the option to disable crossplay. This update significantly reduces the chances of console gamers encountering hackers in Ranked Play, as most of the hacking reports stem from PC players.
Post-update, many players who had previously left the mode due to a wave of cheaters returned to the game.
However, this enthusiasm was short-lived as Treyarch introduced the new Season 2 weapons into Ranked Play to evaluate their potential for permanent inclusion.
Unfortunately, the weapon assessment did not yield favorable results, prompting players to request the removal of the PPSh-41 SMG and the Cypher 091 Assault Rifle. The outcome of the map evaluation is yet to be determined, as Ranked Play is also experimenting with the new Season 2 maps to decide their inclusion to the active roster.
This update entails the removal of those specific weapons along with various other adjustments.

- Corrected an issue that restricted players from buying limited stock items at the Buy Station.
- Addressed a bug preventing legacy Ranked achievements from transferring to the next season.
