Shedeur Sanders, the talented quarterback from Colorado, has made it clear that he won’t be present in Green Bay for the 2025 NFL Draft when his name is announced.

In a recent interview with Overtime, Sanders revealed that, while he is expected to be one of the top selections, he is unlikely to attend the event in person.

“Most likely, we’ll host an event either in Colorado or Dallas,” Sanders stated, referencing his upbringing in Dallas. “We haven’t finalized our plans yet, but we aim to create a fun gathering.”

The rising star believes celebrating in his hometown or college town would be more meaningful, allowing him to honor those who contributed to his journey.

“Going to the draft, I want to share those special moments with the people who supported me,” Sanders explained. “Bringing everyone out there can be quite costly. By staying local, we save money and get to enjoy the moment together without the stress of travel. It’s a collective achievement, and I want to thank everyone who played a role in my success.”

Although the NFL has yet to disclose which players will receive invitations to the draft, Sanders would undoubtedly be among those considered if he decides to change his mind about attending.
