For the fans who participated in the voting at NFL.com, DeJean had yet another reason to rejoice. According to the NFL, he emerged as the top vote-getter for Super Bowl MVP based on fan ballots.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts placed second in the voting, while defensive end Josh Sweat secured third.
This resulted in DeJean receiving 2.5 votes, Hurts earning one, and Sweat getting 0.5 within the 20-vote system. Each of the 16 media members involved in the Super Bowl MVP voting was allocated a single vote.
The final voting details will remain undisclosed unless the 16 voters choose to reveal their selections. Notably, Charean Williams cast her vote for Sweat.
