Amazon has unveiled a range of custom GPUs, showcasing AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 and its XT variant, complete with detailed pricing and specifications.

A Closer Look at XFX’s Radeon RX 9070 Series Now Listed on Amazon

Recently, we shared the initial listing for a custom Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU. It seems there are more models available from a single manufacturer. XFX, a well-known partner of AMD, has made various editions of both the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 GPUs available on Amazon, displaying essential specifications and preliminary prices.

While the listed prices may fluctuate, they are consistent with other recent retail offerings. Among the more budget-friendly options, the XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 OC Triple Fan Gaming edition stands out at $649.99. Additionally, XFX presents four more variants of the RX 9070 XT across their Swift, Quicksilver, and Mercury series, detailed as follows:

  1. XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 OC Triple Fan Gaming: $649.99
  2. XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT Triple Fan Gaming: $749.99
  3. XFX Quicksilver Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming: $769.99
  4. XFX Mercury Radeon RX 9070 XT OC Gaming: $819.99
  5. XFX Mercury Radeon RX 9070 OC Magnetic Air Edition with RGB: $849.99

These product listings suggest that the Radeon RX 9070 series may not be as budget-friendly as initially anticipated. The entry-level RX 9070 XT starts at $749, which matches the MSRP for the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Founders Edition. Premium models peak at $849, implying that AMD could price the RX 9070 XT at around $699, a figure hinted at in recent leaks.

PowerColor Hellhound and Reaper RX 9070 XT

It’s important to note that this is speculative, but it’s becoming clear that AMD may increase the expected MSRP by approximately $100. The RX 9070 is intended to compete with the RTX 5070, which is priced at $549 for its Founders Edition. The XFX RX 9070 starts at $649, but being an OC edition means the reference model might be around $599. If this is indeed the case for AMD’s base RX 9070, it must offer a significant performance boost over the RTX 5070, or risk falling flat.

We remain hopeful that prices will decrease further in the near future, allowing for more accessible options in the $500-$600 range for the 70-class graphics cards.
