CHANHASSEN, Minn. — Are you curious about the snowfall we experienced from Friday to Saturday? The amount varies significantly based on your location.
According to the National Weather Service, Duluth reported the maximum accumulation of six inches during the Valentine’s Day storm.
Along I-35, Sandstone recorded five inches of snowfall, while Cloquet saw four and a half inches.
Floodwood received 4.4 inches, and Two Harbors reported 4.2 inches. Both Grand Marais and Grand Rapids got four inches, while Brainerd experienced three inches of snow.
In the Twin Cities Metro area, Shoreview reported 3.3 inches from the Friday storm. St. Paul, Pine City, Apple Valley, and Rochester all measured three inches.
Rosemount, Isanti, Plymouth, Woodbury, and Winona each recorded two inches, whereas Bloomington, Burnsville, and Eagan reported just slightly less, with 1.9 inches of snow.
