What a remarkable Valentine’s Day surprise!

Popular conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair claims that she recently had a baby with Elon Musk last year. E! News attempted to get a comment from a representative for the SpaceX founder, who also serves as an advisor to President Donald Trump, but has yet to receive a response.

St. Clair shared on X (formerly Twitter) on February 14 that she welcomed a new child five months prior, confirming that Elon is the father. She mentioned, “I kept this private to ensure our child’s safety and peace, but it seems the media has decided to disclose it nonetheless.”

The 2021 author of the children’s book Elephants Are Not Birds further expressed her desire for their child to grow up in a safe environment, asking the media to respect the child’s privacy and avoid intrusive coverage.

St. Clair concluded her post with a Latin phrase, “Alea Iacta Est,” which translates to “The die is cast.”

This announcement follows months of speculation about her pregnancy, which she initially stirred up on Reddit. After her announcement, CBS News’ senior White House correspondent Jennifer Jacobs noted on X that some aides to President Trump had been aware of Musk’s impending fatherhood with the influencer after St. Clair was seen at Mar-a-Lago accompanied by Musk’s security team.

Neither St. Clair nor Musk—who shares son Techno Mechanicus with Grimes, along with a child due in 2024 with Zilis and others named Vivian, Griffin, Kai, Saxon, Damian, and late son Nevada from his first marriage to Justine Wilson Musk—had publicly confirmed any pregnancy or discussed their relationship until now.

In September 2023, both interacted on X and visited a border checkpoint in Texas separately. During an appearance on the Liberty Lockdown podcast, St. Clair stated that Musk’s presence was merely coincidental and they did not have a face-to-face meeting.

Later in November, St. Clair tweeted about her mental health journey, emphasizing the positive change of ending her use of birth control and medications, sparking a one-word response from Musk: “For sure.”
