Nintendo of America has officially opened sales for its delightful game-themed alarm clock, Alarmo. Now, anyone can purchase this vibrant red clock, whether or not they hold a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Alarmo features several built-in themes to kick off your day, including popular titles like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4, and Ring Fit Adventure. Additionally, Nintendo plans to release more themes for free in the future, including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This quirky alarm clock will be available both online and in select stores starting in March.

Initially launched back in October exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online members, Alarmo is now accessible to everyone. Nintendo recently announced, “The Nintendo Sound Clock: #Alarmo is now available on My Nintendo store, no subscription required.”

Alarmo not only wakes you with sounds and animations from your chosen game but also includes a motion sensor for sleep tracking. However, according to Engadget’s review, the sleep tracking feature may not be very effective. Despite this, its charm is undeniable, especially when characters cheer you on as you finally roll out of bed. There is a price tag of $100, but the thought of having a group of Pikmin greeting me every morning is certainly appealing.
