Google’s Gemini AI assistant has introduced an exciting new feature that allows it to recall past conversations, enhancing the relevance of its responses for users subscribed to Gemini Advanced through Google One AI Premium. With this update, there’s no need to repeat previous discussions or search through threads to continue a conversation, as Gemini will already possess the necessary context.
Additionally, users can request Gemini to summarize earlier chats and build on current projects seamlessly. While Google previously rolled out the capability for Gemini to remember your preferences, this latest enhancement allows the chatbot to reference prior discussions in a more meaningful way.
Managing your Gemini chat history is simple. Just click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the Gemini app, then select “Gemini Apps Activity” to review, delete, or manage your interactions at any time.
This new recall feature is currently being rolled out to subscribers of the Google One AI Premium plan. Users can test this functionality in English on the Gemini web and mobile applications. Furthermore, Google plans to expand this feature to additional languages, as well as to Google Workspace Business and Enterprise users in the weeks ahead.
