On Friday, February 14, 2025, NJ TRANSIT will modify its rail, bus, and River LINE light rail services in response to the Philadelphia Eagles victory parade following their Super Bowl triumph. Here are the details of the planned service changes:
Rail Services
- Additional capacity will be available on select Atlantic City Rail Line trains.
- A special train will run from Atlantic City to Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station, departing at 7:35 AM and arriving at 9:14 AM.
- An extra train from Philadelphia will leave at 3:54 PM and will arrive in Atlantic City at 5:36 PM.
Bus Services
- Before 8 AM, all bus routes to Philadelphia will follow their regular schedules. Routes 414, 417, and 555 will operate as planned, making stops at 30th Street Station.
- Between 8 AM and 7 PM, adjustments will be made due to street closures, with all Philadelphia bus services making only one stop in Center City Philadelphia at 6th/Race Street. Passengers are advised to be at this stop at the scheduled arrival times.
- During peak travel hours in the evening, Routes 414, 417, and 555 will not make stops at 30th Street Station. Passengers are required to wait at the 6th/Race Street stop and refer to their timetables for the Market/7th Street departure times.
- After 7 PM, all Philadelphia bus services will revert to their regular routing.
River LINE Services
Bus services will supplement the existing River LINE operations on this day.
Access Link Services
All trips to and from Philadelphia on Access Link will be canceled.
Please Note: On Friday, February 14, NJ TRANSIT will enforce a strict no-beverage policy on all trains, buses, and River LINE light rail vehicles traveling to and from Philadelphia. This includes all drink types, with enforcement being particularly rigorous during events. Moreover, there is a standing rule prohibiting beverages, including alcoholic drinks, on NJ TRANSIT buses at all times.
Behavior that is disorderly, aggressive, or intoxicated will not be accepted. Passengers can expect an increased police presence throughout the transit system.
Passengers are urged to remain alert for any suspicious activities while using the NJ TRANSIT system. If you notice something unusual, please report it by contacting 1-888-TIPS-NJT or texting NJTPD at 65873.
