In-N-Out Relocating Headquarters to Baldwin Park, California
In a significant move for the popular California fast-food chain, In-N-Out Burger has announced the closure of its Irvine office, as it divides its corporate workforce between California and Tennessee.
The decision, revealed on Monday, will see many employees transitioning from the Irvine location in Orange County to a new office in Baldwin Park, where the company was originally established in 1948. The Irvine office has been operational since 1994.
Located approximately 40 miles northwest of Irvine and just a mile from the site of the very first In-N-Out restaurant opened by founders Harry and Esther Snyder, the Baldwin Park office is slated to be fully operational by the end of 2029.
Lynsi Snyder, the owner and president of In-N-Out, expressed her enthusiasm for the relocation, stating, "I know my family would support this move because it reunites our In-N-Out family in a way that allows us to better serve our valued customers."
On Track to Open Tennessee Corporate Office
Alongside the closure of the Irvine office, In-N-Out plans to place corporate staff at either the Baldwin Park location or an upcoming office in the Nashville area, set to open in 2026.
This relocation aligns with an overall expansion strategy for In-N-Out, as Snyder recently indicated at a Nashville Business Journal event that the chain is evaluating the possibility of establishing 35 new locations throughout Tennessee.
Currently confirmed, five of these locations will be in the Nashville region, according to reports from the Tennessean, which is part of the USA TODAY Network.
In recent years, In-N-Out has broadened its reach beyond California, launching restaurants in states like Colorado, Texas, and Idaho, marking a new chapter of growth for this iconic brand.
