Gearbox has officially announced the launch date for Borderlands 4.

During the latest State of Play event, Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox, revealed that Borderlands 4 is set to be released on September 23, 2025.

To celebrate this exciting news, Gearbox showcased a brand-new trailer for Borderlands 4 at the State of Play. Furthermore, they revealed plans for a dedicated Borderlands 4-themed State of Play event this spring, which will feature fresh gameplay footage and a wide array of weapons.
